ECS AWARDED FANTASTIC 50 FOR THIRD TIME

Fairfax, VA - April 27, 2006 - ECS has been recognized with the Fantastic Fifty award for 2005 by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. The award identifies ECS as the fourteenth fastest growing company in the Commonwealth during the period 2002 through 2005.

As a whole the Fantastic 50 represents the fifty fastest growing companies in the state. According to Hugh Keogh, President and CEO of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the Fantastic 50 award evening "illustrates the vibrancy of Virginia's business climate and your contributions to the Commonwealth's economic progress." The awards ceremony was held April 27, 2006 in Chantilly, Virginia at the Westfields Marriott. The Honorable Aneesh P. Chopra, Secretary of Technology, Commonwealth of Virginia was the keynote speaker at the ceremony.

"We thank the Chamber for this acknowledgement", said Roy Kapani, ECS President. "Receiving the award for a third year illustrates that the company's strategy and firm commitment to customer satisfaction and our employees continues to be a winning approach."

"The purpose [of the Fantastic 50 awards] was to generate more recognition for small, entrepreneurial companies throughout the Commonwealth for the contribution they were making to the economy by creating new jobs and capital investment," said Hugh Keogh, president of the Virginia Chamber. "These companies represent innovation, vitality, and an economic engine all of which has established and will continue to propel the Commonwealth of Virginia as a technological, trade and employment leader well into the twenty-first century."

Nominations for the Fantastic 50 were sought statewide from local chambers, economic development organizations, small business development centers and through the sponsors networks. To be eligible, companies were required to be privately held, with headquarters in Virginia, and to show sales between $200,000 and $100 million. They were judged on a four-year sales revenue history. Verification of all award entries was conducted by the accounting firm of Goodman and Company.
