ECS AWARDED TASK ORDER BY DHS CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION (CBP)
Fairfax, VA - February 15, 2007 - Electronic Consulting Services, Inc. (ECS) has been awarded the first task order issued to a small business functional category 1 prime contractor under the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) program. ECS will provide performance systems engineering services to the Engineering Branch within Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for a period of five years. The total value for the five years is $14.6 million.
ECS is one of six companies awarded a small business prime contract in functional category 1. Services under functional category 1 include infrastructure engineering design, development, implementation, and integration. The EAGLE contract which is specifically designed as the preferred source of IT services for the majority of the DHS's enterprise infrastructure and initiatives.
