US NAVY AWARDS ECS WITH CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT (CM), INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION AND VALIDATION (IV&V), AND SOFTWARE REPOSITORY SUPPORT CONTRACT.
Fairfax, VA – July 20, 2007 - Electronic Consulting Services, Inc. (ECS) has been awarded a $17.8 million-dollar task order under the United States Navy SeaPort-e program to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) located in Crane, Indiana. NSWC Crane is a shore command of the United States Navy under the Naval Sea Systems Command headquartered in Washington D.C. As the Navy's third largest base, NSWC Crane covers over 63,000 acres and nearly 100 square miles.
ECS will provide software configuration management support services to NSWC Crane to include independent verification and validation (IV&V), and repository support of tactical software for a period of three years with the availability of two one-year options.
