Job Title:

Sr. Information Engineer

Description:

Washington, D.C.- The Sr. Information Engineer position will have primary responsibilities for supporting the capacity planning and performance engineering activities for the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Data Center. Detailed responsibilities include: performing performance monitoring/tuning, capacity management and general system troubleshooting; ensure there is sufficient SAN storage capacity for future business needs; ensure all underlying SAN storage is configured and optimally performing to meet application and business function needs; work closely with system, database, and platform administrators in designing and architecting storage solutions to meet requirements; analyze complex issues in a fast-paced and challenging SAN storage environment.

Qualification:

Possess security clearance or have the ability to obtain a CBP Full Field Background Investigation (FFBI)

Other Information:

Desired: Strong technical and business development skills, BS or MBA in technical or business discipline. Secret/Top Secret Clearance.
