The ECS Marine Science Division provides Federal agencies with management and scientific research services that help mitigate impacts on living marine resources and enhance understanding of the critical issues affecting the world's marine ecosystems. Our Scientists support the Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) and National Ocean Service (NOS) on their mission to manage, conserve and protect living marine resources; and provides products, services and information that promote safe navigation, support coastal communities, sustain marine ecosystems, and mitigate coastal hazards.

The ECS Marine Science Division delivers scientific, engineering and technical support that includes:
